Police where quick to release the color of the killer - white. The name of the killer was leaked to the media. His name is Kevin James Loibl, of St Petersburg, Florida. The media is satisfied that the killer turned out to be a white male.

No motive as of yet. The police are going through the killer's residence and scouring his computer for any intel that might give them answer into a motive.

So for now one can speculate that the killer committed an act of Jihad.

The killing did occur after sunset during Muslim holiday of Ramadan.

Muslims like to kill the infidel during Ramadan - actually Muslims like to kill 24/7 - but the killing takes on special meaning during Ramadan.

Muslims fast during daylight hours and take meals or indulge themselves after sunset. Muslim strict rules for fasting during Ramadan remind one of the Pharisaical Jew practices:

Rules of the Fasting of Ramadan

Fasting the month of Ramadan is one of the main pillars of Islam. It is obligatory upon every sane, healthy Muslim whose reached puberty and is not traveling during the time of fasting. As for women, they must not fast if they are menstruating or having post-childbirth bleeding.

Here are  Six Actions That Invalidate Or Nullify The Fast:

Intentional Eating or Drinking
If someone eats or drinks due to forgetfulness, a mistake, or coercion, then his fast is still valid and should continue to fast. If you choose to eat or drink, for any reason, then your fast will become invalid.

Intentional Vomiting
If one is overcome by the urge to vomit, and vomits unintentionally, then he should continue to fast. If someone chooses to vomit, for any reason, then his fast will become invalid.

Intentional Sexual Intercourse
If one has sexual intercourse while fasting, then he must perform kaffaarah, expiation of the sin. (Fasting continuously for sixty days or if unable then one should feed sixty poor people).

Menstrual or Childbirth Bleeding
The fast becomes invalid during menstrual or post-childbirth bleeding. Even if such bleeding begins just before sunset, the fast of that day is invalid and the day must be made up at a later time.

All the actions mentioned above are agreed upon by all scholars. However, there are some other actions that are not mentioned above which are not agreed upon.....gee like what? killing?

UPDATE, 3 p.m. 6/11/2016:

Here is an update based on the information Orlando Police Chief John Mina released at a press conference earlier today. At about 10:30 p.m. on June 10, Orlando Police responded to a report of a shooting at The Plaza Live. While officers were en route, we received multiple calls from people who had witnessed the shooting or heard gunshots. Officers arrived in approximately two minutes and immediately secured the scene and found that two people had been shot.

Based on our investigation thus far, it appears that the suspect was alone and approached performer Christina Grimmie inside the venue after the show – as she was having a meet and greet with fans – and opened fire. Christina Grimmie’s brother, Marcus, tackled the suspect and shortly after that, the suspect shot and killed himself.

Christina Grimmie died from the gunshot wounds she suffered. Her brother Marcus is a hero and possibly saved countless other lives. He is not injured. There were about 120 people in The Plaza Live at the time of the shooting.

The suspect – who’s identity we will release later today – is a 27 year-old white male. He does not live in Orlando. He was armed with two loaded handguns and had additional ammunition on his person, as well as a hunting knife. Detectives are looking at his phone and computer in hopes of identifying a motive.

The Orlando Police Department extends its deepest condolences to the Grimmie family during this heartbreaking time. OPD detectives are meeting with Christina Grimmie’s family members today.

There was private security at the venue at the time of the shooting, but they were not armed law enforcement officers. There were no OPD Officers hired by the club to work extra duty Friday night. The club posted this update on its Facebook page Saturday:
