Gospel For Laetare Sunday: What's In Jesus's Bug Out Bag Compared To What's In Fr. Z's Bug Out Bag!

MINIATURIST, German
Prayer Book of Hildegard of Bingen
c. 1180
After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is that of Tiberias. And a great multitude followed him, because they saw the miracles which he did on them that were diseased. Jesus therefore went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples. Now the pasch, the festival day of the Jews, was near at hand. When Jesus therefore had lifted up his eyes, and seen that a very great multitude cometh to him, he said to Philip: Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? And this he said to try him; for he himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him: Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one may take a little. One of his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, saith to him: There is a boy here that hath five barley loaves, and two fishes; but what are these among so many? Then Jesus said: Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. The men therefore sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves: and when he had given thanks, he distributed to them that were set down. In like manner also of the fishes, as much as they would. And when they were filled, he said to his disciples: Gather up the fragments that remain, lest they be lost. They gathered up therefore, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above to them that had eaten. Now those men, when they had seen what a miracle Jesus had done, said: This is of a truth the prophet, that is to come into the world. Jesus therefore, when he knew that they would come to take him by force, and make him king, fled again into the mountain himself alone. Laetare Sunday Gospel

First what was in Jesus's bug out bag?

If you attended Latin Mass this morning then you know the above Gospel. Ask yourself what did Jesus take with him when he bugged out heading for the mountains going over the sea of Tiberias and climbing a steep mountain? What did the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity take with Him? Go ahead tell me what God took with him?

Here in case you have forgotten already this is what Jesus took with him:

1. Two hundred pennyworth of bread

OK Jesus took with him some bread. OK not a bad plan for one man.

A few bits of bread is what was in the bug out bag of God.

Only problem with God's bug out bag is that there where five thousand hungry souls following him to a high mountain apart. OK not a problem you figure with five thousand people bugging out to the mountains you might have 5000 bug out bags. But there's a problem, apparently these 5000 souls were too busy listening to the word of God that they forgot to take their bug out bags with them!

But one boy had a bug out bag and here is what was found in the boy's bug out bag to feed 5000 souls:

1. Five barley loaves
2. Two fishes

Not much of a bug out bag for five thousand hungry souls, now is it? Fish too! You would think fish would stink after awhile wouldn't it?

I bet none of you end of world preppers put fish in your bug out bag!

Still at the end of the day God was able to provide for five thousand souls with no preparation whatsoever - no bug out bags - no guns - or ammo etc...

Just what is a bug out bag (BOB)?
A bug-out bag is a portable kit that contains the items one would require to survive for seventy-two hours when evacuating from a disaster. The focus is on evacuation, rather than long-term survival, distinguishing the bug-out bag from a survival kit, a boating or aviation emergency kit, or a fixed-site disaster supplies kit. The kits are also popular in the survivalism subculture. The term "bug-out bag" is related to, and possibly derived from, the "bail-out bag" emergency kit many military aviators carry. In the United States, the term refers to the Korean War practice of the U.S. Army designating alternate defensive positions, in the event that the units had to displace. They were directed to "bug-out" when being overrun was imminent. The concept passed into wide usage among other military and law enforcement personnel, though the "bail-out bag" is as likely to include emergency gear for going into an emergency situation as for escaping an emergency Wiki
What does a bug out bag (BOB) look like:

Lot's Of Shit To Carry

Now compare to what the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity took with him in His bug out bag to what a modern day convert to the Catholic faith puts in his bug out bag:

Now just what's in Fr. Z's BOB:
  1. Rosary: ideally one made from paracord (makes it easier to strangle your victim)
  2. one of those tiny, vest-pocket size New Testament and Psalms volumes could be of comfort.
  3. folding knife
  4. photo-charging wristwatch
  5. a little flexible solar panel charger for your iPhone or Kindle
  6. iPhone
  7. Kindle
  8. plastic squirt bottle of fortified wine
  9. a water-proof container with small hosts
  10. a small vacuum sealed bag of raisins, from which wine could be made in a pinch
  11. a small vacuum sealed bag of wheat-flour
  12. a vestment
  13. a maniple
  14. a stole
  15. a biretta
  16. a Biretta PX4 Storm in 9mm, which is 17+1. It comes in liturgical black.(that's a gun)
  17. a small vials of your oils
  18. some salt
Some eighteen items or so in case SHTF for Fr Z.

And when the Apostles bugged out to preach to the world, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out devils,  just what were they allow to put in their bug out bag:
Do not possess gold, nor silver, nor money in your purses: Nor scrip for your journey, nor two coats, nor shoes, nor a staff; for the workman is worthy of his meat.
Not much of a bug our bag for the Apostles now was it? But then again the Apostles were following the example of their Master when he bugged out with nothing but five barley loafs and 2 fishes and He was still able to feed five thousand.

Why point any of this out? Because men like Fr. Z are leading others astray with their own brand  of apocalyptic visions.

When the Mother of God already told the lot of you how it will all go down:

First comes the forerunner to the Antichrist with his army of  Nationalists:
"A forerunner of the Antichrist, with his troops drawn from many nations, will wage war against the true Christ, sole Savior of the world; he will shed much blood and will seek to annihilate the cult of God so as to be regarded as a god." Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)
The comes the killing of the Fatima Pope and faithful on top a steep mountain, killed by the forerunner to the Antichrist and his soldiers:
“J.M.J.
The third part of the secret revealed at the Cova da Iria-Fatima, on 13 July 1917.
I write in obedience to you, my God, who command me to do so through his Excellency the Bishop of Leiria and through your Most Holy Mother and mine.
After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!'. And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it' a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father'. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.

Tuy-3-1-1944”.
Ask yourself - will those that die under the huge cross made of cork trees carry with them bug out bags?

Again, Fr. Z is anti-Apostle.  He has nothing in common with the eleven Apostles.......he will find that he has a lot in common with that one Apostle who lead an army to apprehend Jesus Christ. And just like Judas, Fr Z will find himself at the head of an army one day......
