Female narrator: Marcial Maciel died on January 30th, 2008 in Jacksonville, Florida, surrounded by those who were his followers to the very end.

By his side were Alvaro Corcuera, in that moment, Fr. Maciel died unrepentant and maybe without imagining that two years after his death, those who were with him in his final hours would ask forgiveness for all the evils committed by the Director, Founder and Spiritual Guide of the Legionaries of Christ. And not only that, they would also eliminate his name, take down his portrait, and erase his memory. Adored as a saint in life, he would experience his demise in history. Now, for all history, Fr.
